Green Bay – Green Bay Packers fans should brace themselves for a price hike on tickets for the 2025 season, with increases ranging from 4.8% to 12% for seats in Lambeau Field’s bowl.
For 2025, season ticket prices will increase by $7 to $21 per game for Lambeau Field bowl seats, with the Green package costing between $903 and $1,275, depending on seat location. The Gold package will range from $347 to $413, reflecting a reduction compared to last year’s pricing due to a shift in the number of games. While the Packers had nine regular-season home games in 2024, they are back to eight this season, adjusting the offerings for both Green and Gold package holders.
Mark Murphy, Packers President and CEO, explained the reasoning behind the increase, noting that ticket prices aim to balance affordability for fans while aligning with league expectations. With a waitlist of over 140,000, the Packers are under pressure to raise prices, though Murphy emphasized the team’s goal of providing a great value for Lambeau Field’s iconic gameday experience.
“We aim to maintain a competitive ticketing structure among NFL teams and be a reliable business partner for the league’s shared revenue,” Murphy wrote in a letter to season ticket holders.
Ticket Price Breakdown:
- Green Package (Six regular-season and one preseason game):
- Prices for seats in the South end zone 700 level range from $903 to $1,275, depending on location.
- End zone tickets will cost between $949 and $1,099, with between-the-20-yard-line seats ranging from $1,099 to $1,275.
- Gold Package (Two regular-season and one preseason game):
- The Gold package offers tickets from $347 for the South end zone 700 level to $491 for between-the-20-yard-line seats.
The Packers also continue their policy of reclaiming tickets from season holders who sell 100% of their tickets for regular-season games. These seats will be offered to fans on the waiting list, ensuring the tickets are used as intended by original purchasers. This process affects less than 1% of the team’s 40,000 season ticket accounts.
Looking Ahead at Other NFL Teams: The Packers’ price hikes are part of a broader trend across the NFL. Teams like the Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills, and Washington Commanders are also raising ticket prices. The Bears, for instance, announced a 10% average increase, while the Bills’ average ticket price surged by 12%. Other teams, including the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints, have similarly implemented price hikes for the upcoming season.
As the Packers look ahead to the 2025 season, fans will find themselves paying more for the privilege of attending games at the legendary Lambeau Field, a venue that continues to be a major draw for football enthusiasts. While the price increases are notable, they are in line with what fans across the league are experiencing as NFL teams adjust to rising costs and market demands.
For those eager to secure their seats for the season, the Packers’ ticketing strategies and the ongoing waiting list mean it may be a while before they have another opportunity to lock in tickets at current prices.
